The BigONE exchange was founded almost three years ago, so I got so much to talk with you about what we are, how we do, and why we are here. But time is limited, Cheng Jun, our COO, will give you a brief introduction of BigONE exchange. And then I would like to answer any of your questions. So feel free to ask. Thank you Puppy.

It is my pleasure to share some of the insights with you about BigONE’s global strategy. Basically our fascinating global team consists of two divisions, one is responsible for Korean market, the other one is for the rest of the countries/markets across the globe.

I will start off with the Korean market. The essence of the strategy for korean market is building trust. As you’ve probably heard, BigONE is renowned for its safety. Since we’ve been in the market in 2017, we’ve never lost a penny of our user’s digital assets, which serves as a sharp comparison to some other exchanges that have lost millions of dollars due to hacking. That being said, we’d love to have our beloved Korean market to know more about our exchange and how we can add value to their daily lives through easy and intuitive trading and stakings. In order to do that, we regularly and proactively update and communicate with members in our BigONE Korean Telegram Channel so that they can stay updated with our latest developments and dynamics. So far there are around 1000 members in the group, and has been exposed to more than 100,000 community members. We also spread the words across some of the major local search engines. Our message is simple and clear: BigONE's mission is to provide all citizens in the Digital Age with the most secure and convenient trading. Everything we’ve ever done and will do is fair and square. The other facet of the Korean marketing strategy is that we constantly expose great Korean local projects to millions of relevant audiences in China so that they can get a better understanding of the state of the Korean projects and how they can serve as of great mutual interest to both Chinese audience and local Korean projects participants.

Now let’s turn over to the rest of the markets. I will start off with the targeted audience/ markets. I don’t know if you’ve read a report from Statsta in 2019, which conducted surveys across the globe about the adoption of cryptocurrency in each country. The country that has the highest adoption rate is Turkey, with 20% of the population own or owned cryptocurrency, and the next-highest countries popular with cryptocurrencies are Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, and South Africa. From here you’ve probably realized why those countries have such a deep penetration of cryptocurrency, and it’s because the local currencies suffer from long-term value fluctuation or we call it inflation in an economic term. Local people know that the surefire way of preserving their assets is to invest them in something that is immune to the fiat markets, one of the examples including USDT. I won’t go deeper talking about the nature of USDT. I’m sure you’ve gotten a decent understanding of the nature of the digital token. Now the question that I discuss with my team everyday is how can we reach out to those global users, especially in the countries that I talked before. Simply getting ourselves in front of them is not definitely not enough. We approach each market in a very itinerary way -that is we strictly followed a marketing concept called CDJ-driven strategy. CDJ stands for consumer decision journey. Companies have used paid-media marketing push at few well-defined points along the funnel to build brand awareness, drive consideration, and ultimately inspire purchases. But this metaphor
fails to capture the shifting nature of customer engagement. To accurately understand what consumers’ engagement looks like, we are conducting in-depth interviews and that will take up most of our researches, because what we are trying to know is the decision making process - what prompts our targeted audience to make the decision to start trading on our platform, or any exchange. I'm a big believer in this kind of systematic approach to marketing and I believe that by following the strategy which has been repeatedly proven successful across other industries will not only increase our brand awareness in the target market but also help come up with new products that truly solve the needs of local people. Afterall we are a full-service trading platform looking to change other people’s lives for the better.

"It was notorious for kyc from the past. I know that it took a very long time to process kyc and canceled it a lot. I think people are very reluctant about it. Was there any improvement regarding kyc?"

Before we went into the Korean market, we improved the KYC process largely. When you do KYC for the first time, the default verification is the biometric method, which can be finished automatically. If you fail, you can choose the manual KYC process. Upload your information and our customer service apartment will do the verification. Our customer service is 7*24, normally the manual KYC process will be finished within 2 hours.

"Big One Exchange is an exchange based on eos. Currently, it ranks 7th in the eos bp ranking and is getting stable capital near 900 EOS per day. Recently, in order to become a global exchange, Big One Exchange is expanding various alt coins, expanding markets, and introducing margin services. I feel neglected about eos that are giving stable returns.
For example, the EOS market is not grouped separately on the homepage but is tied to the item called alts. Another example is the removal of the eos-dap IQ token. Why are you neglecting eos?"

EOS is very important to an exchange. We take it seriously but we can’t say BigONE is BASED on EOS. Actually EOS IEO is on Yunbi, which is the previous exchange we work for. It was Yunbi and Lixiaolai (our investor) introduced EOS to China.
We did a lot of work in EOS ecosystem. In June 2018, BigONE voted and then unvoted a blockproducer, to reach the 15% voting percentage, getting EOS into the mainnet. After that, we are the first to launch the EOS voting tool -- the real onchain voting, and then RAM trading was available on BigONE. The users’ EOS deposit in BigONE was up to 80 million. Now we have EOS mining pool and an EOS proxy. And yes, we are now the top block producer of EOS.
We supported more than 10 EOS airdrops such as BLACK, PEOS, and a lot more. Also we are the first exchange to launch EOS quoted trading pairs, we had EOS quoted market group. But now we see a few projects such as TRON, PAX and of course ONE token, is good and needed as quote coin, so we changed the EOS market to ALT. This does not mean we are neglecting EOS. Recently we listed a few EOS based projects such as POW, IEDOS, YAS, and YDAO. And, if you have any good EOS based projects, it is welcome to tell us.

But there's a difference.

At first ONE holders can share the trading fee as dividends every day, but now we have upgraded this mechanism. The key feature of BigONE is honest, secure, fast and win-win. I think the most important characteristic of BigONE is safe. We have had rich experience in the exchange industry since 2013. AngelONE is not like IEO. Normally it is targeted only for accredited investors (including foreign institutions such as Singapore and Australia), who can manage risks. And we will also lock part of the investment funds at first. If the project reaches the mile stone, we then unlock the rest, and prepare to help them to do A round funding. We will list more projects on AngelONE according to the market circumstances. Also, AngelONE is flexible and adjustable to meet the requirements for both the investor and blockchain projects.
For the listing fee, I know that this is a tough time for new blockchain teams. But we see a lot of innovative projects in South Korea. So recently we only charge the cost to cover our listing cost.

I understand that the Big One exchange currently supports 3x leverage, and why is it not supporting more than 10x unlike other exchanges?
In the case of the Big One exchange, we thought it would be possible to set the leverage up to three times to support margin trading. Do you have any thoughts of changing the leverage setting to go beyond that? If leverage is limited, it will be difficult to increase users.

Margin trading is not like futures or perpetual contracts, it is just like spot trading but supports borrow and repay. This product is targeting spot users, which is easy to understand. We launched margin trading two months before, and in the future we will support up to 5x leveraging.

The index price, mark price, and the funding rate, are all fair, impartial and open. If you want to trade futures, you must know what is the most important thing. Yes, we can’t do evil.

Yes we held that AMA event a few days ago. Bitcoin halving will happen soon.Weak miners would shut down their machine and then be off the network. Mining pools will adjust their hashrate aslo. But this does not mean the mining industry is in recession. More powerful but low-cost chips will be produced, and new miners who bring lower electricity price will join. Besides, in the Bitcoin history every halving brings price rising (of course the timing is not always fit but the trend is). So for myself I’m optimistic about the mining industry.
